This book is a compilation of scriptures written by JiGong Living Buddha (濟公活佛) in the early 1900s through spirit writing. Here is the link to the original Chinese source.
I have already translated the entire book and revised it several times. To keep myself from endlessly editing, I’m doing one last round—chapter by chapter—and posting them here as I go. Otherwise, this book may never see the light of day.
This translation is my sincere offering. At first, I hoped to compile all the chapters into a single PDF. But I’ve realized I can’t do that alone. If, by the time I finish, anyone finds value in this work and would like to help with that final step of turning it into a book, I would be deeply grateful. Your help could make the difference in bringing this work fully into the world. When I near the end, I’ll share my email for anyone interested in lending a hand.
For now, this page will serve as the table of contents. The chapters may not appear in the book’s original order—that’s simply how my process flows.
If there is any merit in this work, I wish to dedicate it to all beings.

Preface
In the mid-autumn of the Yǐ Chǒu year, when the air was rich with the fragrance of sweet osmanthus blossoms, the spirit-written replies I have given over many decades were carefully gathered into one book. These teachings were first given in answer to sincere seekers who came to the Altar of Reverence.
The work of compiling them took patience—reviewing each record, selecting what would be most helpful, and arranging it into this collection of prose. Yan has given it the title Dao Ji’s Rain Blossoms – New Edition. Now that the work is complete and close to being printed, I have been asked to write a preface.
Seeing their sincerity in walking the Tao, and their wish to awaken and guide both themselves and others, my heart is moved. As a gift, I offer this verse:
With a pure heart, one awakens.
All truths rise and rest in the One.
Across endless worlds, the only rescue vessel is the One.
My disciples, keep going—practice with all your heart! I hope we will meet again, at the great gathering to come on Mount Spirit.
Dao Ji joins his palms in respect
