Poems for the Path

I write to capture an experience — something that arose in a particular space and time, held just long enough to become words. My hope is that those on the same path might read it and find some resonance, a small echo of their own journey. More will be added in due time.

A poem about a rock standing in the Yellow River — on what it means to belong to the force that surrounds you without surrendering your ground.

A giant rock along the Yellow River
A giant rock along the Yellow River

A reflection on the Buddhist image of this shore and that shore, and the sacred ground we never had to leave to find.

From this shore to that shore
From this shore to that shore
